Mark Stout to Play for Evansville Bluecats in 2005

March 7, 2005 - Evansville, IN - Mark Stout has signed to play for the Evansville Bluecats United Indoor Football League team for the 2005 season. Mark will be an offensive lineman for the Bluecats. Mark weighs a mighty 350 pounds and stands at 6-foot-7.

Mark has plenty of football experience that he will bring to the Bluecats 2005 team. He played college ball at Sacramento State. Plus, Mark has 4 years of pro experience with several teams in the league including, the Tennessee Thundercats, Topeka Knights, New Jersey Xtreme, and the Fresno Frenzy of AF2. The Bluecats feel that Mark will be an excellent fit for their team, and can’t wait for the season to begin.

When asked to comment on Mark, Head Coach Ollie Guidry said, “I’ve had a chance to work with Mark since 2000 when I was in Topeka, and he’s a dominating offensive lineman that brings great experience to the team.”

The Evansville Bluecats begin the 2005 season at home on Saturday, March 19th against Tennessee Valley. Their second game is set to take place at home on Saturday, April 2nd against Lexington. Kickoff for both games is at 7:05pm. The Bluecats want everyone in the tri-state area to come out and see their explosive 2005 team. Tickets are on sale now at the Bluecats office or the Roberts Stadium box office.
