Bluecats Find Local Talent

February 23, 2005 - Evansville, IN-Defensive Back, Shadrach Jackson, has signed to play for the Bluecats in the 2005 season. The 5’10”, 205 lb Jackson attended Henderson County High School. He also played at Murray State University. “Shadrach is a multi-talented player that we will be able to use on both sides of the ball,” said Head Football Coach Ollie Guidry.

University of Indianapolis graduate, Tarron Acuff will also be joining the Bluecats in 2005. Tarron received All-Conference honors while in Indianapolis. This 5’10” 205 lb Defensive Back is currently living in Evansville. “Tarron tested well during the tryouts, catching our attention as a staff,” said Coach Guidry, “I look forward to seeing him compete with some of the veterans we have coming in. Both Shadrach and Tarron will be good additions to our team.”

The season opener versus Tennessee Valley is Saturday, March 19 at Roberts Stadium. Be sure to call (812) 437-CATS for season tickets.
