Storm to Host "Trees in Need" Christmas Carnival

December 1, 2004 - When: Saturday, December 18, 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

Where: Empire Golf & Sport Dome, 1601 W 44th Place

Admission: $2 for adults
Free for kids under 14 yrs. and all Storm season ticket holders renewed by Nov. 15th

What: A fun evening with inflatable kids games, a special appearance by Santa Claus, a Christmas cookie cooking contest, festive Christmas music, free chili and hot apple cider.

Special Event: Storm season ticket holders sponsoring charity Christmas trees. Each ticket holder section will have its own non-profit partner and be encouraged to buy a custom Storm ornament to put on their tree. Each Storm ornament purchased will be worth $1, $5, $10, $15, or $20 with all money raised going to that particular charity. Eight area non-profit organizations will be represented with trees. Any amount of donation qualifies to win a Storm Fan Pack (Storm Fleece, Hat, & Autograph Football)

Event is open to the public and non-season ticket holders are encouraged to purchase ornaments as well.

Media partners are encouraged to create a friendly competition amongst radio/TV stations to get listeners to attend and raise the most money for their particular charity.
