Rough Riders' Roster Grows

January 24, 2005 - Peoria, IL-Coach Cowdrey continues to add to the Rough Riders 2005 training camp roster. Camp begins March 1st in preparation for the opening game in Dayton on Thursday March 17th.

David Pratt 6-3 265, North Carolina Central University was utilized primarily as a Defensive End, but switched to Tight End his senior year. Pratt accumulated 60 tackles with 8 quarterback sacks. David had 4 catches for 73 yards as a Tight End.

Brandon Robinson 5-11 195 Running Back Southern Illinois, led the Saluki’s in all-purpose yards with 1,004 (444 rush, 227 pass, 333 return) and ranked eighth in the nation in punt return average (14.5) He averaged 6.2 yards per carry and is the school's active leader in career catches with 48. He has also thrown two TD passes on the option pass and currently ranks 15th all-time at SIU with 1,509 rushing yards. Was a walk on player for the Purdue Boilermakers transferring to SIU his sophomore year. Robinson graduated with a degree in Health Education.

Jerry Spencer 6-2 310 Offensive Lineman University of Louisville and East Central Community College. While at East Central, Jerry was a 1st Team All-State selection, 1st Team All-Star selection, and Honorable Mention All-American Junior College honoree.

Seth Austin 6-4 240 Defensive End/Linebacker Missouri Southern State University, closed out his career with 57 total tackles (25 solo) and also had two tackles for loss, two pass breakups and a forced fumble. He finishes his career as a Lion with 98 total tackles (39 solo), including 16 for losses. Seth was an all-conference squad honorable mention in 2003 for the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA).
