In addition to his UIF duties, Dave is the sole proprietor of BIG D Family Entertainment. He received his Bachelor's degree from Southwest Minnesota State. His quarter-century of radio experience and work as a columnist lead him to the UIF, where he enjoys the camaraderie of the league. Over the years Dave has spent time covering high school, college and professional sports, including time as a beat reporter for the Denver Broncos training camp. Dave's unique combination of radio, print and television journalism background give him a unique perspective in his UIF position. An avid Denver Broncos and die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, he enjoys golf and snow skiing. If he could meet anyone in history, he'd sit down for lunch with Johnny Carson. When not at the UIF office or on stage, he enjoys watching classic movies and relaxing with his three pugs.
