Allegiant Air Official Airline of UIF All-Star Classic

June 28, 2007 - Omaha, NE United Indoor Football (UIF) has signed another presenting sponsor for the Casey’s All-Star Classic in Bloomington, Ill., Aug. 16-18. The Las Vegas-based, low-fare airline, Allegiant Air, will have its name attached to the Aug. 18 All-Star game. The Allegiant Air All-Star MVP Award will be presented to the most valuable player in the league’s first showcase between the top players in the Western Conference and Eastern Conference.

“Allegiant Air is proud to be the ‘Official Airline of the UIF All-Star Classic’ and to present the Allegiant Air All-Star MVP Award at the first ever All-Star Game,” Sabrina LoPiccolo, Public Relations Coordinator for Allegiant Air, said. “We look forward to a very successful first game and a growing partnership with UIF.” The game MVP will receive two roundtrip tickets from any market to any Allegiant Air destination.

UIF Sales & Marketing Coordinator, Mike Schmitz, is excited Allegiant will be one of the presenting sponsors. “They offer nonstop service from many of our teams’ markets to world class destinations like Las Vegas, the Tampa Bay area and Orlando. I know our fans will enjoy their low-fares and convenient service.” Schmitz adds that fans ages 18 and older attending the Casey’s All-Star Classic game will have the opportunity to win Allegiant Air tickets as well.

The classic will be three days of activities for players, coaches and fans highlighted by the All-Star game at 7:05 p.m., Saturday, August 18 at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Tickets have been allotted to all UIF team front offices. Fans are encouraged to contact their local teams about tickets as well as possible bus trips. Tickets are also available through the U.S. Cellular Coliseum box office 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. CDT, Mon. – Fri. at (309) 434-2679.
