July 26, 2006 - Omaha, NE -The Omaha Beef of the United Indoor Football Association (UIF) is pleased to announce a season ticket partnership with Omaha Lancer Hockey. The Beef and Lancers partnered to show appreciation for all their renewing season ticket holders. Season ticket holders that renew with the Beef will receive two complementary tickets to a Lancers’ game. The Lancers season ticket holders received two tickets to a Beef game.

The Lancers first home game is October 7, 2006. The Lancers are a part of the United States Hockey League. They have become a pipeline for players heading to the NCAA Division-I hockey ranks. Division-I scholarships have been granted to 162 Lancer players in the past 16 years. The NHL has drafted 29 of these individuals.

“We are thrilled to be able to partner with a great organization like the Omaha Beef to show our season ticket holders our appreciation for them,” stated Head Coach/General Manager Mike Hastings.

Assistant General Manager Dustin Talacko states, “This is a win, win situation for both organizations. I am thrilled about the opportunity to cross promote with the Lancers. I feel that with 800,000 people in Omaha’s MSA (Metropolitan Statistical Area), our market is big enough that we can work together with other sports franchises here in town. The Lancers are a great brand of hockey and we are privileged to work with them.”
