Cheerleader Head Coach Moving to Ohio

June 7, 2006 - Evansville, IN -The Evansville BlueCats are pleased to announce that Eloiza Domingo-Snyder (pictured to the right), head coach of the Evansville BlueCats cheerleaders, has accepted a new position as the Director of Diverse Student Development in the Office of Diversity Affairs at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. The BlueCats organization is very excited for Eloiza as she begins her new career and would like to congratulate her and wish her the best of luck and success moving forward. She will be leaving Evansville with her husband; her dogs, and cat to start their new life in Ohio. Cheerleader team captain Tessa Sutton will take over as the leader of the team for the remainder of the 2006 season.

The BlueCats would also like to welcome two new members to the cheerleading squad, Jennifer Grubert and Erica Jeffers. Jennifer is a senior at the University of Southern Indiana majoring in Health Services with a Biology minor. Erica is an Evansville native who attended Reitz High School and currently works for Berry Plastics.

The Evansville BlueCats play at home again this coming weekend against the Fort Wayne Freedom. This game is sponsored by Fifth Third Bank. Saturday’s game is also Labor Union Night, with members of local labor unions admitted free with their union card. To claim your free ticket, go to the Ticketmaster box office on the day of the game to claim your complimentary ticket. Kickoff for this Saturday, June 10th, is set for 7:05pm at Roberts Stadium.
