The 2005 United Indoor Football Playoffs were full of drama and action. It all started when the Tennessee Vally Raptors (now Rock River Raptors) upset the No. 1 seeded Fort Wayne Freedom in dominant fashion, 57-22. The Sioux City Bandits ended Tennessee Valley’s run in the second round but the show belonged to the Sioux Falls Storm. The Storm entered the playoffs as the No. 5 seed but made it all the way to the championship game by defeating the Omaha Beef and the Lexington Horsemen. Their magical run was made complete with a 40-38 win over Sioux City in the title game.
