FILLIES TO TEAM UP WITH THE PEP CLUB
Lexington, Ky. - The Horsemen and The Fillies dance team are proud to announce that we will be teaming up with the Pep Club for the 2006 Horsemen football season. Linda Parker and staff, will be in command of the Fillies for the upcoming year, and promise for it to be one of the most exciting in Fillies history. Tryout information has also been announced, and is as follows: · You MUST be 19 years old to tryout. · The fee for tryouts is $25.00 and can be paid by cash or money order. Money Orders can be made out to the Pep Club. NO CHECKS! · There will be an open clinic for persons trying out on January 25th from 7 – 10pm, at The Pep Club. This is optional, but recommended. · Tryouts will follow on January 26th from 8 – 10pm. · Dance attire is appropriate for the tryouts. · The location of the tryouts is at the Pep Club, located at 261 Ruccio Way, off of Reynolds Rd, behind Meijer, inside the Omni Center. OMAHA BEEF ANNOUNCE SELECTION OF 2006 OMAHA PRIME DANCERS
Omaha Beef Football announce the first round selection of the Omaha Prime Dance Team for the 2006 season.

Freedom Dance Team Is Back
The Fort Wayne Freedom announced today that the Freedom AllStars Dance Team is back for the 2006 season.
The Freedom AllStars dance team will perform during all Freedom home games along with helping with contests on the field and greeting fans when the doors open. They will also be active in the community doing appearances.

Cathy Agent brings 23 years of dance and cheer experience to her role as head coach of the Fillies, Fillies Jr. team for elementary, middle, and high school the official dance teams of the Lexington Horsemen. Agent has been the head coach of the University of Kentucky's Dance Team since 2000, and has led that team to a top-five national ranking. Agent coached the UK Dance Team that won their first National Championship at the USA College National Competition in Vegas in 2005. As head coach, Agent is responsible for coaching, teaching, choreographing, advising, and critiquing the members of the team. In 2000 and 2001, Agent coached the UK Dance Teame white squad, who also performed at various UK sporting events. Agent is also a 2004 NFL Dance Team Member. Agent was a member of the UK Dance Team from 1997 to 2000, and was named captain for her senior year. During her tenure, the team placed fourth at UDA Nationals, and Agent cheered and danced at the 1999 Outback Bowl, the 1998 Music City Bowl, and the 1998 NCAA Final Four. Prior to attending UK, Agent won several dance and cheer awards and competitions, including UCA and NCA All-Star national championships, ECA and EDA national championships, and ICF and Canam national championships, all with the Bluegrass Tigers. In addition, she was a two-time NCA high schools national finalist while at Lafayette High School in Lexington. Agent has also judged several cheer / dance tryouts and events, including the upcoming UDA High School Nationals. She has been doing professional choerography for high schools and other groups since 1999, many of whom have won national championships with her routines. |

May 4, 2005 - Yes, that's right Carmen Butler has been selected for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders training squad. Each of the training squad members will need to train all summer, and as long as they follow all the strict guidelines (among other requirements), they are on the team for the 2006 season.
